Dr. Kelly Fradin
Dr. Kelly Fradin is a board-certified pediatrician, mother of two, and child advocate based in New York City. As a survivor of childhood cancer, she saw first hand how a medical challenge can disrupt family life. This inspired her to study psychology at Harvard College and attend medical school at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons.
After her training, she joined the faculty at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore where she cared for children with complex medical conditions inpatient and outpatient, conducted clinical research and educated medical trainees. She worked in a public health capacity with NYC schools in the South Bronx and now works as the Director of Pediatric Medicine at the Atria Institute.
She has reached millions through her work speaking, consulting, her first book Parenting in a Pandemic: How to Help Your Family Through COVID-19, and on social media as @adviceigivemyfriends.
