Crystal Smith’s debut young adult fantasy novel BLOODLEAF is getting the TV treatment! Dana Brunetti and Keegan Rosenberger’s Cavalry Media has acquired the book to develop for series. The book follows Princess Aurelia, a prisoner to her crown whose subjects grow suspicious she’s a magic-possessing witch. After an assassination attempt, Aurelia must flee her country and disguise herself as a commoner in a distant land, where she finds herself torn between wanting to return to her family and falling in love for a man forbidden to rule beside her. The next book in the planned trilogy, GREYTHORNE, comes out in 2020.
