Martin Michaud

Born in 1970, Martin Michaud is a musician, novelist and screenwriter. He worked as a business lawyer for twenty years before devoting himself to writing full-time in 2012. His novels have gained a wide readership in Quebec–where he has been hailed by critics as “the master of the Quebec thriller”–and Europe, winning numerous literary prizes.

Author of the bestselling Victor Lessard crime novels, Martin is also the writer of the hit TV series Victor Lessard, adapted from the books. The series won first prize at the Banff World Media Festival. It has had over 6 million views on Club Illico, and has been bought by ZDF for global distribution.
