Jon Cohen

A former critical care nurse, Jon wrote his first novel between hospital shifts and raising two children. After receiving a creative writing grant from the National Endowment for the Arts, he turned to writing full time, producing two critically acclaimed novels. During a short stint in Hollywood, he wrote numerous screenplays for Fox, Warner Bros. and Sony, and is the co-writer of the film Minority Report, directed by Steven Spielberg. His latest novel, HARRY’S TREES, published in June 2018. It was an Amazon Best of the Month and BookPage Top 10 pick for June.

Jon lives with his wife outside of Philadelphia.
