They are the creators and hosts of Dateable, which has been named one of the top podcasts about modern dating, love, and sex by The New York Times, The Huffington Post, and AskMen, among others, and ranks consistently in Apple’s Top 10 relationships podcasts. Dateable has garnered millions of downloads and media attention from outlets such as CNN, NBC News, MSNBC, BET, Bustle, and New York Public Radio. They’ve interviewed thousands of daters and world-renowned authors and experts to understand why we date the way we do. Previous guests have included Mark Manson, Emily Nagoski, Candace Bushnell, as well as dating app creators, psychologists, therapists, behavioral researchers, and relationship coaches.
Julie Krafchick started her career working in the Silicon Valley tech scene for over a decade, understanding the ins and outs of how technology impacts human relationships. She’s a trained qualitative researcher and app designer. She was the creator of the app 500 Brunches, a modern meetup, that helped facilitate more organic, in-person meetings for friends and dates, which grew into a thriving community with over 10K members (and was also how Julie and Yue met and developed Dateable).
Yue Xu launched her career as a dating coach and vlogger in New York City, working with clients all over the world. Her vlog Singlefied, was featured on AskMen.com, Match.com, The New York Post, Coffee Meets Bagel, The Times, BBC, and more. She is a TV host and producer for shows TechTheLead, The Gadget Show UK and The Gadget Show China, and has appeared on MTV, AMC, Discovery and NBC.
