Danielle McKechnie

After studying theatre at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York, Danielle found her footing behind the camera where she worked for critically acclaimed director Peter Berg, Westwood One and Podcast One founder Norm Pattiz, and former CEO of Fox Studios Bill Mechanic before becoming a creative producer at Cirque du Soleil. She has had a hand in producing live spectaculars in some of the most esteemed venues in the world including Broadway, London’s West End, and Sydney Opera House. Her most recent residency productions are “America’s Got Talent Las Vegas Live” at Luxor Hotel & Casino and “Mad Apple” at New York-New York Hotel & Casino. In addition to producing for Cirque, Danielle wrote and developed the popular original horror series MIRA MIRA garnering 100 million views and counting, produced by Facebook Watch and Crypt TV. Danielle is currently at work on her spooky series entitled OTTO NORMAL’S MONSTERTON, the first book of which Andrews McMeel will publish in 2024. Danielle lives in her hometown of Vancouver, BC with her husband Mike and two children Birdie and Maude.
