Theresa Park Founding Partner

Theresa began her professional journey as an attorney at Cooley Godward, a Silicon Valley law firm. But it was her love of books and interest in combining business and art that propelled her toward a publishing career. During her 30 years as a literary agent, she represented bestselling commercial fiction and a short list of serious nonfiction. The authors she represented topped global bestseller lists, enjoyed blockbuster film success, earned major advances from the best publishers in the business, and sold millions of copies of their books in every language.

Theresa stepped back from day-to-day activity at the agency in 2024 to focus full-time on film and television producing.  Clients Nicholas Sparks, Debbie Macomber, Taylor Jenkins Reid, Cecelia Ahern, Deborah Harkness and others are now represented by Celeste Fine and the broader team at Park & Fine, but she remains passionate about PFLM books, the agency and the industry as a whole.

She still finds time to enjoy a good meal, make a yearly visit to Vienna, Austria (her hometown) and connect with friends and family all over the world—she is fluent in German, can speak French and understand a smattering of Japanese.  A graduate of UC Santa Cruz and Harvard Law School, her varied education and background made her a uniquely broadminded creative and business partner to her clients, a quality that remains essential to her activities as the founder and principal of Per Capita Productions.

Theresa no longer accepts publishing queries or submissions.
