Kathryn Toolan Literary Agent, International Rights

Kat Toolan joined Park & Fine in November 2021, and represents authors in all categories, although she has a penchant for non-fiction that leaves her thinking about the world in a new way. As an international rights agent she also negotiates publishing agreements outside of the United States for the agency. An all-around licensing enthusiast with a keen eye for numbers, she is committed to building strong relationships both home & abroad for PFLM clients. She began her career working for Dalkey Archive Press in her native Ireland before moving to New York in 2014 to work at Grove Atlantic, and then Archipelago Books. A former bartender and sometimes standup comedian, she is now on a mission to get a tattoo in every city she visits.
She holds a B.A. in English and Economics from University College Dublin and before joining the agency was with the rights department of Simon & Schuster. She lives in Queens.
